Orth, the owner of the house and former circumnavigator of the earth, made his parent’s home become a picturesque piece of art and a “house of ideas”. He organises lots of events here, such as vernissages, receptions, conferences and company presentations, on the occasion of which you can enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by Hans-Stefan Steinheuer, a two-star chef. Check your creative skills and get an idea of the potter’s trade. Adendorf is known all over Germany for its long pottery tradition. After an introduction into the potter’s trade and a visit to the factories you will be trained the pottery master himself in small groups. You can let your creativity and fantasy flow while turning, scratching and painting.
