Beethoven City of Bonn

Bonn’s biggest son still sets the tone. In 1770, Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn as the son of a family of musicians. His house of birth has long been a much visited museum. The Orchestra of the Beethoven Hall feels an obligation to the big composer’s heritage in quite a special way, which does not only show during the annual International Beethoven Festival in the region’s musical life.
