More than 20 museums with very different exhibitions – among others the August Macke Haus, the Frauenmuseum (women’s museum) and the Arithmeum – form Bonn’s museum landscape. Meaningful museums in the region expand the spectrum, such as the Römervilla (Roman villa) am Silberberg in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, the Bilderbuchmuseum (picture-book museum) in the Burg Wissem (a fortress near Troisdorf) or the Rheinbacher Glasmuseum (glass museum of Rheinbach).
