Siebengebirge cruise

Take a cruise with the KD along the Siebengebirge drive past Bonn to the legendary Drachenfels in Königswinter, where you can visit for example the place (with Germany’s oldest rack railway), where Siegfried is said to have killed the dragon. Enjoy the unique view from there down into the Rhine valley.A brand-new attraction is the Sea Life Centre in Königswinter. But the Siebengebirge has much more to offer, which can be discovered by boat as well. Charming Rhine villages like the picturesque health resort Bad Honnef, the so-called “Rhenish Nizza”, or Unkel and Linz with their beautiful half-timbered houses and crooked alleys invite for a visit, not to forget the two health resorts Bad Breisig and Bad Hönningen.

Please note the KD combination ticket for a sensational price!

Legendary Loreley cruise

If you want to experience the entire UNESCO world-cultural heritage, you can start with your tour in the well-known Rhein and wine city of Rüdesheim with its famous Drosselgasse. Romantic fortresses, the Pfalz near Kaub and the Feste Schönburg near Oberwesel proudly watch over the Loreley valley. Charming villages like the picturesque Lorch or the medieval half-timbered scene of Bacharach border the banks. At St. Goarshausen you will reach the beautiful Loreley, and just few kilometres down the river near Kamp-Bornhofen you will meet the “Feindliche Brüder” (the “enemy brothers”). In Braubach you will find the Marksburg, the fortress which is maintained the best in the Rhine valley.

KD Nostalgic route

This is nostalgia pure between Koblenz and Rüdesheim. Experience the most famous sights on the German Romantic River Rhine in proper style on board of the original bucket-wheel steamer GOETHE. You can also enjoy a Romantic Rhine menu with a good Riesling of the region on board.

Wih the KD to the Sea Life Centre Königswinter

On board of one of the KD ships you can experience the charming Siebengebirge in the most beautiful way. Take a ride with us to the legendary Drachenfels in Königswinter. Next to the scenic highlights, a brand-new leisure attraction will wait for you there: the Sea Life Centre Königswinter !
Get to know the fascinating manifoldness of the home submarine world. In the numerous basins you will find more than 3,000 fish and other marine animals from about 100 species. The main attraction of the Sea Life Centre is the big deep-sea basin with a unique glass tunnel going right through it, which gives you an almost 360-degree all-around visibility into the submarine world.
