Adenauer-Haus (Foundation Federal Chancellor Adenauer House)

Residence of the first Chancellor of the German Federal Republic. Situated below the house is the exhibition building with a remarkable collection of documents on Adenauer’s life and work.

Schloss Drachenburg GmbH (Castle Drachenburg)

The castle with its unique view onto the Rhine valley and the Siebengebirge, which was erected from 1882 – 1884, is located half way up the Drachenfels. There is a special exhibition called “Opened due to renovation – insights into the building site Schloss Drachenburg”.

Drachenfelsbahn – Bergbahnen im Siebengebirge AG

You can get up to the Drachenfels, the famous landmark of the Siebengebirge, with Germany’s oldest rack railway and can enjoy the view into the romantic Rhine valley from up there.

Grube Silberhardt and Bergbauwanderweg (Silberhardt Mine and Miner’s Hiking Trail)

Situated on the edge of the protected Rosbach valley, a former drift mine can be visited displaying the working life of the miners. The unique miner’s hiking trail called ›From ore extraction to smelting‹, begins right at the mine.
