Bonn/Rhein-Sieg beispielsweise, die sich in den vergangenen Jahren sehr dynamisch entwickelt hat, unterstützt aktiv die Ausgründung innovativer Start-ups, die den Wirtschaftsstandort bereichern. IT und Cyber Security Einen wichtigen Schwerpunkt in der Region bildet die Informations- und Kommunikationsbranche. Sie erzielt seit Jahren überdurchschnittliche Wachstumsraten. Speziell das Thema IT-Sicher- heit spielt in der Region eine beträchtliche Rolle: Etliche Unternehmen, Wissenschafts- und For- schungseinrichtungen sowie öffentliche Institu- tionen haben einen Cyber-Security-Schwerpunkt. Deshalb gründeten unter anderem die Stadt Bonn, der Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, die Deutsche Telekom AG, die Deutsche Post AG und die IHK Bonn/ Rhein-Sieg im Herbst 2018 das Cyber Security Cluster Bonn e.V. Unterstützt wird dieses Cluster durch das Bundesamt für Informationstechnik (BSI), die Polizei Bonn sowie durch das Kommando Cyber- und Informationsraum der Bundeswehr (CIR). Ziel: die Akteure miteinander zu vernetzen und als Plattform für Politikberatung, koordi- nierte Aus- und Weiterbildung, Startup-Förderung, gemeinsame Forschungsprojekte und Veranstal- tungen zu dienen. Speziell digitale Start-ups finden zudem mit dem Digital Hub Region Bonn einen interessanten Akteur, der Gründungen unterstützt und inno- vative Start-ups mit der ansässigen Wirtschaft zusammenbringt. This is why, among others, the City of Bonn, the Rhein-Sieg district, Deutsche Telekom AG, Deutsche Post AG and the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Commerce and Industry founded the Cyber Security Cluster Bonn e.V. in autumn 2018. This cluster is supported by the Federal Office for Information Technology (BSI), the Bonn Police and the Cyber- und Informationsraum der Bundeswehr (CIR) command. The aim: to network the actors with each other and to serve as a platform for policy advice, coordinated training and further education, start-up support, joint research projects and events. Digital start-ups in particular will also find an inte- resting player in the Digital Hub Region Bonn, which supports start-ups and brings innovative start-ups together with the local economy.
