„Musik, Motoren, Petticoats“ “Music, Motors, Petticoats”
Wenn einmal im Jahr das Motto „Musik,
Motoren, Petticoats“ in Rheinbach und
der umliegenden Region ausgegeben
wird, dann ist wieder „Rheinbach
Classics-Zeit“! Vom 14. bis 16. Juli 2017
werden wieder viele Hundert Oldtimerfahrzeuge Rheinbach und die ganze
Region in ein rollendes Museum verwan-
deln. Ob Oldtimer-Rallye oder der große
Korso: passend zur „Musik der Motoren“
werden das ganze Juliwochenende über
rund ein Dutzend erstklassiger Live
Rock’n’Roll und Boogie-Bands die Hits
der 50er und 60er Jahre wieder lebendig
werden lassen. Erstes Highlight ist das
große Open-Air-Eröffnungskonzert am
Freitagabend, am Samstagabend steigt
traditionsgemäß auf dem Himmeroder
Wall auch wieder die größte Rock’n’Roll
Party der Region mit Live Bands und
auch die Wahl von „Miss Petticoat“ am
Sonntag ist immer ein echter Zuschauer-
magnet.
When you come across the slogan “Music,
Motors, Petticoats” in Rheinbach and the
surrounding region once a year, then it’s
“Rheinbach Classics” time again! Several
hundred classic vehicles will change Rhein-
bach and the entire region into a rolling
museum from 14th to 16th July 2017.
Whether it’s a classic car rally or the large
parade: in keeping with “Music of the
Motors” about a dozen top live rock’n’roll
and boogie bands will bring the hits of
the 1950s and 1960s back to life over the
whole weekend in July. The first highlight
is the enormous open-air opening concert
on the Friday evening, following tradition
on Saturday evening the largest rock’n’roll
party in the region with live bands will
again play on Himmeroder Wall and
also the choice of “Miss Petticoat” on the
Sunday is always a real magnet for spec-
tators.
