Bis heute haben sechs Bundesministerien ihren ersten Dienstsitz am
Rhein, dazu kommen rund 260 Verbände und 20 Bundesbehörden,
die gemeinsam eine enge räumliche Verflechtung zu den in der
Region Bonn vorhandenen oder neu angesiedelten Organisationen
und Institutionen bilden.
Noch aus den Zeiten, als Bonn Hauptstadt war, verfügt die gesamte
Region über eine umfangreiche Infrastruktur, die in den Bereichen
ÖPNV, Kultur, Hotellerie sowie kongressnahen Dienstleistungen eine
hohe Kompetenz im Tagungsbereich darstellt.

Approximately 260 associations and 20 Federal authorities can be
added to this, which together lead to close geographical integration
with the existing organisations and institutions in the Bonn region or
those that have recently moved there.
Still from the time when Bonn was a capital city, the entire region
benefits from an extraordinary infrastructure, which represents a
high level of competence in the conference sector in the fields of public
transport (ÖPNV), culture, the hotel trade as well as services associa-
ted with conferences.
